Protime or INR testing services offered:
Lanier Adult Medicine's nurse provides point-of-care INR testing to maximize care and minimize risks to patients on anticoagulant therapy. The benefits of face-to-face point-of-care testing with a nurse includes: an opportunity for immediate test results, assessing for bleeding complications, reinforcing anti-coagulation education, and assuring adequate understanding of medication dosing schedule.
