Dr.Karnstedt has answered. Please click on a question to read more detail about that specific topic.
With Which Insurance Plans Do You Participate?
We participate with most insurance plans. However, this can change depending on contractual agreements. For an up-to-date list of insurance plans please contact our office at 678-455-0030. We accept new Medicare and Medicaid patients.
Can I Get Prescriptions By Phone?
We request that patients bring in all their medicines and supplement bottles at each office visit. This enables us to be sure all medicines are correct, helps with dosage adjustments, and allows us to provide refills if needed. If you are running out of medication between visits, contact your pharmacy directly for your convenience. They will contact us on your behalf and speed up the process. You can also request refills using our Patient Portal on this website. It may take up to 48 hrs for refills to be processed, but we try to approve requests throughout the day.
For your safety, we will generally refuse to prescribe medications for a new problem without checking you at the office. We do require that anyone on continuing medication be seen at least yearly to evaluate drug effectiveness and to detect possible adverse reactions or other interactions with other drugs.
